The seed for Peaceful Waters Retreat was planted in 1979, when Bob and Trish met within shared spiritual community on the east coast. 🌱 Over 40 years, four kids, and multiple careers later, they are proud to offer Peaceful Waters as a space for healing, contemplation, and regeneration.   • Peaceful Waters is designed for family reunions, wellness workshops, corporate retreats, multi-day group gatherings, weddings, and special events.

    Reservations generally require a two-night minimum stay. For weddings and larger events, we can accommodate up to 150 daytime guests.

  • Amenities include a private lake and pond, swimming pools, hot tubs, a gym, sauna and steam room, game areas, fire pits, watercraft, a two-mile walking and biking trail, and a regenerative farm with friendly animals.

    Amenities vary depending on whether you reserve the Ranch House, Retreat Center, or entire property.

  • Sustainability is built into Peaceful Waters – from the walls to the property’s power and water systems. Our Retreat Center is constructed with Compressed Earth Blocks, an energy-efficient earthen building material that creates beautiful, naturally comfortable spaces. A solar panel array helps supply the property’s electricity, while water for the Retreat Center is drawn from our onsite well and treated through a whole-facility reverse-osmosis system.

    These features complement our broader commitment to thoughtful land stewardship, sustainable development, and regenerative farming across the property’s 53 acres.
