We’re Building an Off-Grid, Earth Block Retreat Center
Greetings, friends!
Our goal was simple: We wanted to create a self-sustaining haven that our family could rely on if ever needed — a legacy that could last for generations to come. We also wanted to share our values of nature, and spirituality with the world.
So we did what any self-respecting family in our position would do, if they could: We bought land and some cows and decided to start a regenerative farm and retreat center!
Today, that vision is coming together and we are thrilled to be opening Peaceful Waters Retreat Center to guests this Fall.
Earth blocks are made from local soils and clay and compressed into bricks. These aren’t just any bricks, by the way — earth blocks build dwellings that are:
